But Harry, still furious with Nicola, intentionally invites Zach to the party. As Nicola decorates, Teddy delivers some harsh truths, leading Nicola to trash the living room just as Barney and Harry arrive home. Chaos ensues as Zach’s arrival sparks a major confrontation. Nicola kicks Zach out, humiliating Barney. Teddy follows the upset teen and in a heartfelt chat, promises to support Barney if he wants a relationship with his biological father. Later, Nicola tries to mend fences with Barney over a meal, but another run-in with Zach reignites the tension. The evening takes an unexpected turn when Nicola and George Knight bond over their relationship woes. Could this be the start of a scandalous new romance?

4. Denzel Shuts Out Joel, Joel Causes Trouble

Denzel agrees to babysit the younger kids during Patrick’s party, inviting Tommy over. Joel, hoping to get closer to Amy, tries to get an invite but Denzel makes it clear he’s not welcome. Amy later dismisses Joel’s flirting attempts. Later, Joel manages to sneak into Denzel’s gathering with alcohol. The two teens head to The Vic, where Elaine, carried away by the party spirit, gives them punch. Denzel and Joel secretly steal entire jugs of punch, only to be horrified when Raymond, Bert, and Ernie drink the alcohol. The next day, Linda is horrified, and worried mothers Denise and Cat discover Elaine served the underage teens alcohol. Will Elaine face serious consequences?

5. Jean Questions Cat’s Loyalty

Cat is hurt by Alfie’s silence while he’s away, but Jean remains unforgiving of Cat going into business with Kathy and Harvey. Relations worsen when Jean questions Cat’s increasing time with Phil. 7. Elaine Causes Underage Drinking Carnage

Elaine’s extravagant party for Patrick is a hit, much to the Truman Fox women’s chagrin. Meanwhile, Denzel hosts a movie night for the younger kids at home, but Joel sneaks in with alcohol. Later, at The Vic, Elaine, caught up in the festivities, serves Denzel and Joel punch. The teens secretly steal jugs of it, only to discover that Raymond, Bert, and Ernie have consumed the alcohol. The next day, Linda is horrified, and Denise and Cat discover Elaine’s recklessness, leading to questions about her accountability.

That evening, Nicola and George Knight bond over their relationship breakdowns. Is this the start of a controversial new romance in Walford?

Ravi knows nothing about the invoices, and Vicki’s persistence makes him suspicious. As a result, Ravi and Suki confront Bernie about the strange invoices. Will they uncover the truth about her involvement?

Cat’s Chilling Discovery: Tommy’s Dangerous Friendship

Cat Moon makes a chilling discovery about her son, Tommy. He’s become dangerously entwined with newcomer Joel Marshall, who arrived from Australia with a dark secret: he’d upskirted a pupil and his family paid $50,000 for their silence. Joel has shown no signs of changing, recording himself with Avani Nandra, introducing Tommy to pornography, and showing him videos with derogatory views on women. Cat and Alfie uncovered sexually explicit videos on the family laptop, prompting Tommy to try and avoid Joel. He fakes illness to skip school, only for Joel to show up pretending to be a study partner. While Cat is at work, Joel resumes watching “dodgy videos,” insults his mother, and expresses feeling unwanted. During a tube ride, Joel commits another sex offense on a fellow passenger.

Tommy rushes home, unwilling to confide in Cat. Cat encourages him to open up, but a disparaging comment from Tommy about women sparks her suspicion. His silence when asked about Joel confirms her worst fears. Cat tries to reach Alfie, who is nowhere to be found. Tommy uses a tracker on Alfie’s phone, leading Cat to a flat. Unbeknownst to her, her estranged daughter, Zoe Slater, is inside.

Zoe Slater’s Shocking Return and Hasty Exit

Zoe Slater made a long-awaited return after two decades, only to make a hasty departure, claiming she’d done something so bad she had to disappear for good. She appeared to be in a bad place, staying with Stacy Slater and prompting Alfie Moon to get involved. Zoe urged Alfie to keep her presence a secret from Cat. When Cat showed up, Zoe was forced to hide and then made an escape, determined to avoid her estranged mother. Cat’s suspicions were raised, but Stacy and Alfie managed to cover their tracks. The big question is: what is so bad that Zoe has to flee once more? Is this truly her exit?

Good news for fans: Michelle Ryan’s exit is only temporary! Metro understands that Zoe will return to screens later this year in a more regular capacity. Zoe, one of EastEnders’ most iconic characters, was central to much of the drama between 2000 and 2005, known for storylines like covering up Den Watts’ murder, her affair with him, and her relationship with Dennis Rickman. She is most famously remembered for the iconic “You ain’t my mother!” to which Cat replied, “Yes I am!” Hopefully, we’ll see more legendary moments when Zoe returns and reunites with Cat.

Former EastEnders Star Announces Engagement!

Former EastEnders star Gurlaine Kaur Garcha, who played Ash Panesar from 2019-2023, has announced her engagement! Gurlaine updated her Instagram to reveal that her partner, Max, proposed. The picture shows Gurlaine sipping a drink in Ibiza, Spain, with her engagement ring shining. Many of her EastEnders co-stars, including Shiv Jalota (Vinnie) and Balvinder Sopal (Suki), congratulated her. Ash’s final scenes aired after she was offered a job in Canada, which she accepted despite Nish’s fury. Suki used reverse psychology to push Ash towards the decision, making Nish furious. Ash seemingly caught on to his controlling behavior and asked him to give Suki a project of her own.
