Spencer Dutton must embark on a treacherous journey back home, fighting against time – and deadly obstacles – to save his family before it’s too late. Meanwhile, Alexandra sets out on her own perilous transatlantic mission, determined to reunite with Spencer and reclaim their love.

Speaking exclusively to RadioTimes.com, Timothy Dalton – who plays ruthless tycoon Donald Whitfield – promised an “epic” climax to 1923.

“I think we’ve done it very well,” Dalton said of the final episodes. “It’s an epic piece. There are so many stories happening, wonderful stories that are coming together in a great way.”
