EastEnders fans are convinced that a new romance is on the horizon for Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) following Harvey Monroe’s (Ross Boatman) affair with Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth).
As fans of the BBC soap will know, cab driver Harvey kick started a love affair with Kathy following the tragic death of Martin Fowler (James Bye) in February.
Feeling unsupported by his partner Jean and the rest of the Slater clan, Harvey found common ground with Kathy and the pair shared a kiss. It wasn’t long before they agreed to continue seeing one another behind Jean’s back.
Jean is yet to discover Harvey’s secret, but soap fans think she could be about to kick-start her own affair with Nigel Bates (Paul Bradley).
