Vicky Myers has said she ‘can’t quite believe’ her latest Coronation Street milestone as she teased fans alongside a string of previously unseen photos.

The actress is best known for playing DS Lisa Swain in the ITV soap and is very much a favourite among fans. But it was only recently that Vicky marked a year playing the character on a regular basis, despite having first appeared in the long-running show back in 2021.

Despite sporadic appearances as the detective sergeant but it wasn’t actually until last year that Viky was given the regular role of Lisa on the cobbles and has been a major part of a number of storylines since.

Back in March, she marked a year as a regular character and re-sharing her initial announcement about Lisa’s future on the cobbles from the same month in 2024, she said: “Wow, a year…and what a year it’s been.

“My goodness, how time flies when you’re having fun.” She added: “Thank you for all the lovely messages- you’re the best!”

But, Vicky has now officially marked four years since her Corrie debut. Taking to social media, she shared a number of previously unseen pictures from her first stint on the Cobbles, including DS Swain’s police lanyard and her own name on a dressing room door.

Alongside the post on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, the soap star said: “Four years of DS Lisa Swain. I can’t quite believe it’s been four years. What a journey, what a story, what a woman, and there’s plenty more to come!

“Whether you love her or hate her, thank you. Forever grateful. Thank you @itvcorrie And thank YOU #LisaSwain #Corrie. Explaining the pictures, she added: “After wrap on the first 4 eps in ‘21.”

And she was quickly flooded with support. Corrie co-star Sally Carman-Duttine said: “You are the best!! Here’s to the next four you amazing woman!” while Sair Khan commented: “Woohoo.”
