Emmerdale viewers are convinced that they’ve worked out what Kerry Wyatt is hiding in Eric Pollard’s cupboard – and it’s not what you’d expect at all

Kerry, portrayed by Laura Norton, has been a regular fixture on Emmerdale since her debut in 2012, quickly becoming a beloved character among viewers.

She’s been at the centre of numerous major storylines, from her complex relationship with her hidden daughter Amy (Natalie Ann Jamieson) to unintentional arson. Kerry’s life in the Dales has certainly been filled with drama.

This was particularly true earlier this year when she was involved in a terrifying limo crash that led to the unfortunate deaths of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), and her own daughter Amy.

The accident occurred due to Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) drugging Noah Dingle (Jack Downham), who subsequently stumbled onto the road, causing his mother and the limo driver Charity (Emma Atkins) to crash, reports Leicestershire Live.

However, last week, Joe’s deceptions were revealed at a party at Home Farm, making him the village pariah. The situation escalated to the point where he was pushed out of a window by an unknown individual.

Several villagers, including Kerry, have now become suspects. Kerry was heartbroken to learn that Joe was responsible for Amy’s death.

Adding to the intrigue, after Joe was discovered unconscious but alive, Kerry was spotted sneaking past.

Meanwhile, Kerry got a proper grilling from a nosy Eric (Chris Chittell) and Matty (Ash Palmisciano) about her alibi when Joe was pushed.

But as the pair walked off, Kerry was seen whipping something out of her bag and sneakily hiding it in one of Eric’s cupboards.

Now, Emmerdale fans reckon they’ve sussed what Kerry’s been up to – and it’s got nothing to do with Joe Tate.

On an Emmerdale Facebook fan group, one sleuth posted: “What did Kerry put in Eric’s cupboard? I rewound it, paused it but still unsure what it was.”

The comments were buzzing with theories, with one person speculating: “Could be drugs?” Another added their two pence, saying: “All I could see was Kerry put something in a drawer that seemed to be a tissue, so I have a feeling it’s drugs.”

Yet another fan pondered: “Yeah maybe she took drugs after finding out about Amy.”
