When Yellowstone ended in Dec. 2024, it was probably not much of a surprise that Taylor Sheridan wasn’t completely saying goodbye to the hit franchise he created. There are two direct spinoffs available to stream, as well as a number of projects announced, teased, or actively in the works. The latest is Y: Marshals, a spinoff focused on Luke Grimes’ Kayce Dutton, which was reported to be coming to CBS.

The Yellowstone sequel starring Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser, tentatively titled Dutton Ranch, is also expected but not confirmed. While fans wait for these shows, only two direct Yellowstone spinoffs are available to stream: 1883 and 1923, which wrapped up Season Two in April. The extended Sheridanverse, however, is much larger, with shows like Landman and Mayor of Kingstown that have no direct relation to Yellowstone.

Here’s what you need to know about streaming the spinoffs and related shows.

Yellowstone (2018-2024)
The show that started it all, Yellowstone, concluded with its fifth season. The show follows the Dutton family, landowners in Montana, who deal with personal and political conflicts. The series starred Kevin Costner for the first four seasons and the first half of the fifth, before he was written off the show following a behind-the-scenes spat with showrunner Taylor Sheridan.

The series aired on the Paramount Network and was created before the Viacom-CBS merger and the creation of Paramount+. The streaming rights were originally sold to Peacock. Since March, the entire series has been available to stream on Peacock, which is currently available for as little as $24.99 for a year.

Where to Watch Yellowstone Spinoffs
1883 (2021-2022)
1883 is a prequel to Yellowstone, and it stars Sam Elliott, Tim McGraw, and Faith Hill. The series follows earlier generations of the Dutton family and ran as a single 10-episode season. The show was created for Paramount+.

1923 (2022-2025)
The second sequel to Yellowstone, 1923 stars Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren as Jacob and Cara Dutton. Ford plays the brother of Tim McGraw’s character from 1883. The first season aired in 2022, and the second aired from Feb. to April 2025. Like 1883, 1923 was created for Paramount+.

Other Yellowstone Spinoffs
There are plenty of other Yellowstone series in the works. 1944 was announced as the latest prequel, and will follow the events of 1923. Michelle Pfeiffer will star in The Madison, which is in production and will be set in the present day, like Yellowstone. The other previously announced present-day spinoff, 6666, is currently on hold, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The latest series to be announced is Y: Marshals, starring Luke Grimes. Dutton Ranch, the tentative title of the Kelly Reilly and Cole Hauser series, is expected but has not been announced.

Other Taylor Sheridan Shows
In addition to Yellowstone and its prequels, the Sheridanverse includes a number of shows, all of which are available to stream on Paramount+.

Landman (2024 – )
Landman stars Billy Bob Thornton, Jon Hamm, and Demi Moore and premiered on Nov. 17, 2024. The story revolves around the petroleum industry in Texas. The second season will air in November.

Lioness (2023 – )
Lioness stars Zoe Saldana as a CIA operative and Nicole Kidman as a high-ranking official in the agency. The first season aired in 2023, and the second aired in 2024. All 16 episodes air on Paramount+. A third season is possible, but has not been confirmed.

Tulsa King (2022 – )
Tulsa King stars Sylvester Stallone as a former member of the mafia in New York, who finds himself exiled to Oklahoma following his release from prison. The first season aired in 2022 and the second aired in 2024. A third season was confirmed for Paramount+.

Mayor of Kingstown (2021 – )
Mayor of Kingstown stars Jeremy Renner and Hugh Dillon, and it’s set in Kingstown, Michigan. There are three seasons of the show. While the series has not been officially renewed, indicators point to a fourth season for the series. Renner confirmed a Season Four, which is currently in production.

Lawmen: Bass Reeves (2023 – 2023 )
Created by Chad Feehan and executive produced by Taylor Sheridan, Lawmen: Bass Reeves stars David Oyelowo in the fictionalized telling of Bass Reeves’ life, who escaped slavery and became a U.S. Marshal. Feehan stated, “If there is another season of Lawmen, it will focus on a new lawman or law woman.”
