EastEnders favourite Harriet Thorpe has delighted fans with some joyous family news, revealing she’s recently become a ‘glam-ma. ‘
The star, known for her role as the Queen Vic landlady Elaine Peacock in the iconic BBC soap, graced the set of This Morning on Wednesday (July 2), joining hosts Ben Shephard and Cat Deely, along with soap expert Sharon Marshall.

During her appearance, while discussing her character’s current intense storyline, conversation naturally veered towards her personal life.
Harriet excitedly shared that her daughter Flossie has welcomed a baby girl into the world. Soap guru Sharon initiated the reveal, saying: “Talking about moving forward there is a new family addition in real life.”
Harriet playfully responded: “And what would that be?” Prompting Sharon to exclaim: “Oh come on grandma.” Laughter ensued among the group as Harriet clarified: “You need the correct word.”

Cat chimed in with a laugh: “She said the G word.” With a smile, Harriet announced: “It’s glam-ma.”
Sharon quickly corrected herself: “Oh, I’m sorry. That G word.” Ben then queried: “Glam-ma. So you have a grandson or granddaughter.” Harriet proudly stated: “Glamdaughter. She’s heaven.”
Adding a touch of humour, the actress commented: “It’s offensive because I feel like I’m only 35 so how is it possible?”
Harriet initially broke the wonderful news of her daughter’s pregnancy on Instagram earlier this year, posting an image of the baby scan, reports OK!.
