EastEnders fans are clamouring for the return of Louise Mitchell, played by Tilly Keeper, to Albert Square, following her father Phil’s recent struggles with mental health.
Viewers of the BBC soap will recall Phil’s long battle with loneliness and depression, culminating in a harrowing attempt to take his own life in February. Fortunately, he was saved by his brother Grant, Nigel Bates, and Linda Carter.
Prior to this, Phil penned emotional goodbye letters to his loved ones, including his ex-wife Sharon Watts and his children.
His eldest son, Ben Mitchell, is currently incarcerated in an American prison, while Louise is believed to be living abroad with her young daughter Peggy, fathered by Keanu Taylor.

In a dramatic twist back in January 2020, Louise orchestrated a plot against her cheating fiancé Keanu, which led to his apparent demise at the hands of Martin Fowler.
Before his staged death, Louise delivered a chilling warning, saying: “Never, ever take a Mitchell for a fool.”
Although Keanu’s death was later revealed to be a ruse, Phil insisted that Louise and Peggy leave Walford for a fresh start in Portugal, fearing the consequences of her actions, reports Plymouth Live.
However, with Phil now on the road to recovery from his breakdown, fans are eagerly calling for Louise’s return to the show. On Reddit, fans have been discussing which characters they’d like to see make a comeback.
