As John’s war with Mackenzie stepped up a notch in Emmerdale, John made a risky move by tampering with the slurry tank, but whose life has he put in danger?
John Sugden isn’t averse to putting lives in danger – but usually it’s with the intention of saving them in order to be a hero.
This time, however, John just wants to get rival Mack into trouble. But his plan may backfire when an innocent life is put at risk.

With John and Aaron’s wedding fast approaching, the two men settled on a joint stag do, involving paintballing.
Aaron’s best man Mack saw this an opportunity to get one over on John.
On the day of the stag do, the two men continued to get each other’s backs up, culminating in Mack telling John that he sees through him “and it’s only a matter of time until Aaron does too.”
As a drunken Aaron fell asleep talking about Mack, John had a menacing look in his eyes as he agreed that Mack had to be stopped.
John then headed to the farm and pulled the lever on the slurry tank, creating a big leak.

John puts a life in danger in Emmerdale
Upcoming scenes will see a shocked Moira discover a serious leak in the slurry tank at the farm.
Initially John is delighted as Mack is blamed, but his joy is short-lived when Cain reveals that the slurry has poisoned the water supply in the village.
John is horrified further when Harry drinks some of the contaminated water and he has to watch as his nephew is loaded into an ambulance.
Next week, Harry is on a drip in the hospital, while Mackenzie is the village pariah. There is more bad news as Moira realises she may have to sell the farm to foot the bill.
Overwhelmed with guilt, John snaps at Aaron. John later comforts Mack, who breaks down after believing he is to blame for Harry’s condition.
Will Harry be OK and will the truth be revealed?
