Coronation Street fans are thinking heartbreak is on the cards for Sarah Platt as they have predicted her relationship with Kit Green is only heading one way.
The Underworld factory manager has been unlucky in love over the years. He most recent marriage to Adam Barlow ended after she cheated on him with bad boy Damon Hay.
She’s more recently struck up a romance with Kit, with the detective constable (DC) already making a name for himself on the street, having had a fling with Daisy Midgeley and a one-night stand with Sarah’s sister-in-law, Shona Platt.
And fans think Sarah’s going to be unlucky once again after Kit was seen trying to help Maria Windass find her husband, Gary, in recent scenes.

It was during Thursday’s (July 10) episode of the ITV soap that fans were finally shown what had happened to Gary, before he was left fighting for his life, and who was responsible.
It quickly transpired that Lou had been holding vigil at Gary’s bedside, pretending to be his wife. But she had an ulterior motive – as she was the one who put him in the hospital in the first place.
In a dramatic flashback, it was revealed that Lou and Gary had got into a confrontation, with Gary threatening to expose Lou’s blackmail and report her to the police.
Terrified of leaving her children without a parent, Lou begged him not to, but when he suggested they’d be better off without her, she saw red and swung at him with a metal pole.
With Gary on the ground bleeding, Lou hid as Nina Lucas and Summer Spellman stumbled past, high on LSD after Aadi Alahan’s party. As fans already know, the two women ran off, sparking fears for them when the drugs wore off that they left someone to die.
In present day, Lou was seen managing to avoid be spotted by Kit and Maria, after Kit was given a tip that a coma patient in Weatherfield General hadn’t been identified.

Unfortunatley, it wasn’t Gary and Maria was left breaking her heart to Kit about what could have happened to him, sharing he’s acquired many enemies over the years.
And Kit’s support of Maria, likely because of Sarah’s involvement having previously had a romance with Gary herself, fans think something will happen between the pair.
Taking to Reddit, ReplyParticular917 said: “Does anybody think Maria will end up in bed with Kit?” majesticjewnicorn replied: “I mean, she’s got form getting with Sarah’s fellas (ahem Gary) so wouldn’t surprise me, although Kit would be stupid to go down that road again bedding two friends.”

Others, however, don’t think it’s Maria that Sarah needs to worry about. julialoveslush commented: “I think his next conquest is Bethany, possibly after that yeah.” Anarchicdog added: “I think every weatherfield woman will. But he is 100 percent going to sleep with Bethany.”
