Coronation Street’s Vicky Myers had a cause for celebration as she commemorated four years of portraying DS Lisa Swain, having joined the ITV soap in 2021. However, it was only recently that Vicky began playing the character on a regular basis.
Despite making occasional appearances as the detective sergeant, it wasn’t until last year that Vicky assumed the regular role of Lisa on the cobbles, contributing significantly to numerous storylines since then.

Vicky has now officially celebrated four years since her Corrie debut. She took to social media to share several previously unseen photos from her initial stint on the Cobbles, including DS Swain’s police lanyard and her name on a dressing room door.
In her post on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, the soap star wrote: “Four years of DS Lisa Swain. I can’t quite believe it’s been four years. What a journey, what a story, what a woman, and there’s plenty more to come!”, reports the Manchester Evening News.

Following her Corrie anniversary, Vicky was spotted celebrating another significant event, this time with her friend and co-star Sally Carman-Duttine.
Coronation Street’s Sally Carman has continued her 50th birthday celebrations, sharing new photos of the festivities on Instagram. Initially announcing the milestone on Friday, May 9, she posted stylish snaps of herself in a faux fur coat and a vibrant red mini dress.
Sally captioned the update with a cheerful: “Happy 50th birthday to me #birthday #love #friends #fakefurcoats.”
In her latest update, Sally gave her 158,000 followers a glimpse into how she commemorated the occasion. Among the photos, she was spotted enjoying a sophisticated beverage and being treated to a birthday dessert, with a candle lit on it, alongside her husband, Joe Duttine.

Additionally, she spent time with her parents and shared laughs with friends, including her Coronation Street colleague Vicky and actress Erin Shanagher. The trio is frequently seen enjoying each other’s company outside of the show.
Reflecting on the celebration, Sally added the caption: “Birthday bitsie bobsies #spoiltrotten #bestfriends #bestfamily #50rocks.”
Her friends shared their heartfelt messages, with Vicky saying: “You deserve the world! Happy Birthday. Love you,” and Erin expressing: “I adore you.”
