Emmerdale viewers shared that they were concerned for Bear Wolf after they noticed his appearance looked different during a recent episode.
Bear Wolf joined Emmerdale in 2019 as the father of Paddy Kirk. He’s since moved in with the happy couple – Paddy and Mandy.
During a recent press day, producer Laura Show confirmed that Bear has a big storyline coming up end of summer, early autumn this year.
While not much can be said about his big storyline yet, Laura admitted he’ll be “off-screen for a little while and he’s going to go missing.”
She continued: “When he comes back what you’ll see is a very different Bear in a very different situation, and we’re all gonna be watching and going ‘what has happened here?!'”
Although we’re yet to find out what exactly happens for Bear to leave the village, there have been some hints that showcased a change in his behaviour.

During Wednesday’s (14th May) episode, Liam had officially moved out as Mandy and Paddy started the process of moving Bear’s belongings into Liam’s old room.
However, Bear got the wrong end of the stick and thought he was being kicked out. Unlike his usual demeanour, Bear lashed out at the pair – a pattern that has seemingly started to develop.

He then fled from the house and wasn’t found until two hours later. After Mandy and Paddy explained that they weren’t kicking him out, Bear responded: “What am I like, eh? I’m sorry son. I really thought you wanted shot of us and it hurt, cos I’m fond of my little family.”
“And I know I came late to it but I were heartbroken at the thought it were ending.”
With this in the back of fans minds, some took to X (formerly known as Twitter) to express their worries. @Wee_Westie29 wrote: “Something is up with Bear…”
