In the upcoming episodes, Ross meets Lewis face-to-face and finds it challenging to answer Lewis’ numerous questions about their family without revealing the many dark secrets he needs to keep hidden, reports Leicestershire Live.
As the conversation progresses, it becomes increasingly difficult for Lewis and Ross to discuss the past without causing upset. Eventually, Ross decides to leave, abandoning a hurt Lewis.
Later, Ross tells Moira that they mutually agreed to forego any family reunion… but will this be the last we see of Lewis?
Long-standing soap fans will recall Emma Barton and her dramatic demise, but for those new to the show, here’s a recap…
Who is Emma Barton?
Viewers of the ITV soap will remember Emma as the mother of Pete, Ross, and Finn Barton, and the estranged wife of James Barton. She was located by her son Finn in 2015, years after she had abandoned her family.
The revelation of her secret son, Lewis, has left fans wondering if there could be more hidden family members.

Why did Moira Dingle kill Emma Barton?
Moira was responsible for Emma’s death in 2017. Before this, it was disclosed that Adam Barton, Moira’s son, was actually the biological child of James Barton, not John, as he had previously believed.
This meant Adam gained three siblings – Ross, Pete and Finn – whose mother was Emma.
In a classic soap twist, James died in 2016 after a jealous Emma held him captive due to her obsession with Moira. James tried to escape from Emma’s grasp, but she found him and pushed him off a bridge, causing a car pile-up involving several villagers.
James later succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Emma met her end in 2017 when, after accidentally killing her son Finn, she went to the Hotten Viaduct. It was later revealed that Moira had pushed Emma to her death after Emma kidnapped her baby, Isaac, and taunted her about being a poor parent, even suggesting she killed her own daughter, Holly Barton, who tragically died from a drug overdose in 2016.
Adam confessed to Emma’s murder in December 2017 to protect his mother, who had recently given birth to Isaac, and has been on the run since then.
Emmerdale continues every weeknight at 7:30pm on ITV and ITV X with hour-long specials on Thursday.
