They may be nominated for Best Partnership at this year’s British Soap Awards, but Emmerdale’s Beth Cordingly has revealed the most ‘annoying’ thing about working with on-screen husband William Ash.
The duo play Ruby and Caleb Miligan in the ITV soap, and have been at the centre of some enormous storylines over the past few months.
Their marriage was in danger of collapse when Caleb discovered that Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) wasn’t his biological daughter, but when Ruby revealed the truth about Steph’s parentage, Caleb vowed to stand by and support her.
It was revealed in devastating scenes that Ruby had been sexually abused by her father growing up, and had fallen pregnant with Steph as a result.
Caleb stuck to his word and supported Ruby, until things hit a rocky patch when it was revealed that she had slept with his brother, Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley).
Thankfully, they now seem to have things back on track, with the couple pulling together to try and help Steph come to terms with the truth about her paternity.

In a video posted to Instagram, actress Beth revealed that she hadn’t been on set with the Miligans for a while, but that they were soon set to be filming more scenes.
However, this wasn’t all good news, as she complained about an ‘annoying’ aspect of working with Will.
‘It’s been sunny and Will Ash has been gardening. And the thing about Will Ash and the sun is that he only has to look at it and he’s really, really tanned.’

She went on to reveal that instead of trying to compete, she was going to use fake tan.
‘Things you have to do when you are partnered at work with that annoying William Ash bloke,’ she added in the caption.
Getting in on the competitive action, actress Georgia Jay commented: ‘Milligan Tuesday Tan Contest!’
‘He will win. Or you will. My St Trop doesn’t stand a chance. Love you,’ Beth replied.
