Actors who have had brief appearances in popular soaps are often recognisable when they later star in other shows.
This is true for former EastEnders actress Gerry Cowper, 63, who is most recognised for her role as the fiery matriarch Rosie Miller on the beloved BBC soap.
When the Millers first arrived in Albert Square, they were instantly labelled as troublemakers and received a less than warm reception from their neighbours.
However, viewers quickly warmed to them as characters, despite the rest of the square’s residents not doing so, and Gerry has been lauded for her portrayal of Rosie.
But do you recall seeing Gerry in her earlier role on the hit show Only Fools and Horses?
She also portrayed two distinct characters in Casualty – Lorraine Wells in 2015 and Eileen Price in 2002 – and played a variety of minor roles in The Bill between 1988 and 2000.
